Well everyone, Flat Stanley has landed in the Big Apple. After a long flight from Sarasota to New York, we landed the CRJ-700 at LaGuardia International Airport. I had 24 hours to spend in NYC. So I called a friend, Howard Dill. He is an African Methodist Episcopal Preacher. We traveled all over Downtown New York City. Here you can see me driving down Broadway to Time Square. Time Square is the place in the city where everybody gets together each year to celebrate the new year on New Years Eve. If you look close, you will see a lot of NYC Taxi cabs in the pictures. They are everywhere. It is amazing, the air in NYC has a distinct smell. It smells like Hot Dogs. There are venders on every corner selling hot dogs. More pictures to come...............Thursday, April 3, 2008
